Astronauts Fix Space Station with Brush Teeth

NASA astronaut, Sunita Williams, and colleagues from Japan, Akihiko Hoshide, able to turn the power unit on the International Space Station on Wednesday (5/9).The two astronauts completed the installation of its main task Main Bus Switching Units (MBSU) new space station truss. The installation has resulted in problems for spacewalks on August 30.
Williams and Hoshide using tools made from a toothbrush and some spare parts to make repairs. '' They also installed a camera on the station robotic arm, Canadarm2, during the trip in space that lasted six hours and 28 minutes,'' said NASA as are reportedRIA Novosti .

Previous NASA Flight Engineer, Sunita Williams, and Logging Engineer Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, Akihiko Hoshide, spent eight hours and 17 minutes in space. However, both failed to install new MBSU S0 truss on the station. Because, they have difficulty installing bolts to strengthen the equipment.

MBSU heavy component is used to channel energy from solar devices to the system.
Williams and Hoshide recorded history as long yangpaling third spacewalks. The record is still held by U.S. astronaut Susan Helms and James Voss, who walked in space selamadelapan hours and 56 minutes in 2001.
