London 2012 Slalom Canoe

Canoe Slalom requires speed, control and accuracy of reading the river which flows into the sport. Branch was first contested at the 1932 Swiss Olympic. Initially the game carried on the surface of still water before it turns into a swift current location. Since becoming a sport that has always competed at every Olympic Games began 20 years ago, the branch has become very popular. Actions of the athletes to conquer a very strong currents to be an interesting spectacle.
Sport Canoe Slalom 2012 Summer Olympics held in Lee Valley White Water Centre for five days starting on July 29 to August 2, 2012. A total of 82 athletes to compete to win four gold medals.
Olympic champion France is contingent on general sports Olympics London 2012 Canoe Slalom by collecting two gold medals.

  • GOLD: Tony Estanguet (FRANCE)
  • SILVER: Sideris Tasiadis (GERMANY)
  • BRONZE: Michal Martikan (SLOVAKIA)

2. DOUBLE canoe (C-2)

  • GOLD: GREAT BRITAIN
  • SILVER: GREAT BRITAIN
  • BRONZE: SLOVAKIA

3. KAYAK PRINCESS (K-1)

  • GOLD: Daniele Molmenti (ITALY)
  • SILVER: Vavrinek Hradilek (CZECH REPUBLIC)
  • BRONZE: Hannes Aigner (GERMANY)

4. KAYAK PRINCESS (K-1)

  • GOLD: Emilie Fer (FRANCE)
  • SILVER: Jessica Fox (AUSTRALIA)
  • BRONZE: Maialen Chourraut (SPAIN)
