Bali is an island that has beautiful scenery, surrounded by white sandy beaches (compared with the beach Ancol-Jakarta), has a lot of temples and other historic buildings, so that the Balinese have an attraction for tourists, both domestic and foreign countries. Some say that in Bali we can meet people from any country in the world, France, America, Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Saudi, anyway we can all meet here.
So do not feel confessed Indonesia, if you've been out of the country but have never been to Bali. Lah people overseas just jauh2 come to Bali, our time in the country that has not even been there. What did the world??
There are some attractions that are generally visited during a vacation in Bali:
Ground zero , this is the first monument of the Bali bombings. There plastered the names of victims of the Bali bombing, you will find this monument on the way to Kuta beach.
Hopefully there is no more chaos in Bali, because of the information we get from the people there, Bali tourism was devastated by a bomb bali 1 and 2. Foreign visitors drastically reduced, and many entrepreneurs out of business. Though the majority of Balinese people rely on tourism businesses.
Along the road to Kuta beach there is a row of bars, restaurants, hotels and stores that sell clothing, paintings, art, etc.. But JalanJajanHemat advised to buy oleh2 in other areas because the actual target buyers in the region are foreign tourists. The price of goods here can be quite high. Why?? Because the price of rental stores in the region exorbitant know .
Kuta Beach .
This is the obligatory beach for tourists. This beach has good waves, so many surfers play on this beach. The beach was very crowded visited by foreign tourists, they generally swimming, sunbathing, surfing, running along the beach. To get into this area free of charge, the only cost of parking alone.
At this beach, you will find vendors massage services, hair braiding, temporary tattoo, rental chairs, well anyway so crowded there. If you are just a short vacation but want to feel this beach, enjoy a few moments alone, remember we want to vacation right? Not going for a swim .
Hardrock hotel
in this place you can swim in the large and comfortable. The swimming pool is warm watery you know, so do not worry if your pool until the evening. In the middle of the pond there is a sandy area, is quite unique, because the sand is very clean and does not make a dirty pond. There are waterfalls, there is a pool boy who has a slide, and even a mounted projector screens showing the film. Dressing room was nice, towels, soap all available complete. But the price of admission pool here is quite expensive, 100 thousand per person.Besides the pool, here too there is a spa, gym, cafe, even hard rock radio bali know in it, we can see they're on the water
Tanjung Benoa
On the beach, we can do many water sports such as jet skis, parasailing (parachute pulled by a speedboat), banana boat, flying fish (I think this game was mediocre, but after seeing firsthand how his game really exciting wauw ..) diving, glass bottom boat. You can rent boats at the bottom mounted glass so it can see into the water.Be careful when renting, the existing price list price is negotiable crazy. Luckily I had time before leaving for browsing and searching for information such permainan2 prices. Here are some prices that I can get on the Internet (July 2008)
Uluwatu .
This temple is located at the western end of the peninsula hills, that's why it's called Ulu Watu meaning end and that means stone. This temple is located on the rock that juts into the sea. The view from here luaaarrr biaasaa .. JJH recommend this place. Before entering the site, each visitor was asked to wear a scarf (and a plus for those who use cloth shorts) as an homage to the ancestors who were in the area. This temple is surrounded by a forest in which there are the monkeys are said to be loyal followers of the holy priest who was assigned to guard the sublime Uluwatu temple. Be careful with your luggage: hat, sunglasses, camera, necklaces, earrings recommended to be stored in a safe place. Because monkeys are sometimes fun and take things from the hands of tourists. Many have picked up sticks to carry in order to avoid from the hands of ignorant monkeys, but remember do not disturb / hurt the monkeys. There is also no Kecak dance performance (with additional charge) located at the end of the cliff. Well anyway it will sound decakan awe of every visitor who comes here. For admission to this location is only Rp 3,000 only.
Tanah Lot .
The place is located in the village Beraban, 13 km south-west of Tabanan. This is one of the attractions that must be visited by JJH. There are two temples, one located above the boulder, and the other located on a cliff. If low tide, you can walk across to the temple in the middle of the beach, but are not allowed in except to pray. At the bottom of the cliff there are areas of the sacred serpent. The legend says that the snake came from the founder of the temple scarves, Danghyang Nirarta as temple guards. Many like to enjoy the sunset in this place .. If dipikir2 in Bali were more places to Sunset huh? Tickets go to this place and Rp Rp 7.500/dewasa 5.000/anak2, while for foreign tourists Rp. 10.000/orang.
Pura Taman Ayun .
Pura which means "Beautiful Park" is located in the village of Mengwi, Badung. This temple is surrounded by a small ditch which supposedly frequently traversed by the lady's maid palace with a small boat. In the middle there is a memorial fountain that leads to 9 of the wind. There is a tower that is bale kul-kul where you can climb onto it, and see the sights around the site with ease. The admission price of Rp 3,000 / person. But sorry, according to JJH place is not too special.
